GoDaddy Roma Colosseo

On February 3, 2020, GoDaddy, the company that empowers everyday entrepreneurs, unveiled its first outdoor advertising campaign #MakeYourPoint in Italy with three different flights in Rome and Milan.
It cleverly plays around with the word “point.” Fun fact, in Italian, the word “point” is somehow the same for, well….point, but also dot!

The message tells customers that whatever the point is, in their professional and in their personal lives, they can go online and start their new venture and create their digital presence, with the brand always by their side. In fact, in the digital world, the point is not a closure, but an opening: “making your point” and registering a domain name means opening up to a world of possibilities and starting your own new entrepreneurial story.

The “point” is at the heart of the campaign, letting Italians know GoDaddy is there for them every step of their journey.

By using this versatile “point” our Italian campaign is leveraging our domain industry leadership position to bring awareness to the entire span of an online business. At the same time, it also highlights the three major milestones for an everyday entrepreneur.

  • The all-exciting starting point (.dipartenza)
  • The sometimes scary growing phase (.disvolta)
  • The amazing moment they realize, “I’ve got this!” (.diarrivo)

The ads, which also show off our awesome new “GO” logo, are near underground transportation, billboards and railway stations. The “Make Your Point” campaign kicked off in February and will continue through the year with a focus on how intuitive and simple it is to use GoDaddy’s products.
