On June 22, I attended the event La noche del deporte here in Madrid. The event was aimed at supporting the bid of Madrid for the 2020 Olympics, whose winner will be announced on September 7, 2013. The event was amazing. In every corner of the center there were some sports facilities where athlets were practicing every kind of sport like High Jump, Artistic Gymnastics, Beach Volley, Ping Pong, etc.
I decided to contribute to this nice iniciatve by running the non competitive night run. 8Km in the downtown with thousand of people running and partying hard. Each person wore a tshirt with one of the colors of the Olympic Rings. The visual effect was impressive! Unfortunately I did not have time to pick my tshirt up, therfore I run with a with one and with grey shorts. Below a great video of the event. Can you recognize me?
